See Why A Heartless Suspect Was Released Immediately After An Arrest In Brindhaven, KZN
Brindhaven, KZN – A suspect apprehended by members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for burglary in Brindhaven, KwaZulu-Natal, has been released after the homeowner chose not to file a criminal case. The non remorseful suspect was released because the homeowner refuses to press charges against him.
Incident Details
At approximately 08:12 AM on Thursday, RUSA officers were alerted to a break-in at a residential property. The suspect was spotted removing valuables from the premises. Officers quickly responded, sealing off all entry and exit points in the area.
Following a brief search, they located and arrested the suspect, recovering the stolen items in his possession. When questioned, the suspect claimed that a man known as “Denzil” was responsible for organizing housebreakings in Brindhaven.
Suspect’s Resistance and Release
During the arrest, the suspect refused to walk, forcing officers to carry him out of the bush where he had attempted to hide. However, the homeowner later decided not to pursue legal action, citing the minimal value of the stolen goods.
As a result, the suspect was released without further charges. The incident has raised concerns among residents, who fear that such leniency may encourage further criminal activity in the area.
