Man Mercilessly Killed During His Birthday Celebration In Inanda, The Reason Will Leave You Surprised…
Inanda, KZN – A 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed during his birthday celebration in Etafuleni, Inanda, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to a distress call from the victim’s family at approximately 06:14. Upon arrival, RUSA officers found the deceased lying in the yard, his clothes soaked in blood. He had sustained a fatal stab wound to the chest, and a kitchen knife was discovered next to his body.
Birthday Celebration Turns Deadly
According to the family, the deceased had turned 32 on Friday, and his friends had organized a surprise party for him on Sunday. The group continued drinking and celebrating for several days, with the gathering extending into Wednesday morning.
At some point during the festivities, an argument broke out between the deceased and the homeowner, which quickly escalated. The suspect then retrieved a knife and fatally stabbed the victim. So the reason for killing the celebrant was just due to some mere argument which the main details would be released as soon as investigation is concluded.
Arrest of the Suspect
The victim’s family arrived at the scene and confronted the four men and two women who were present at the time of the incident. The suspect admitted to stabbing the deceased but did not disclose his motive.
Police were called to the scene, and the suspect was taken into custody. He is currently being held at Inanda SAPS while further investigations continue.
Authorities are urging community members to exercise caution during social gatherings, particularly when alcohol is involved, as tensions can easily escalate into violence.
