Woman Left Her 3 Children At Home Only To Return To Find Their Corpses Inside The Freezer, See What Happened
A heartbreaking tragedy has unfolded in Nnewi, Anambra State, as a mother, Madam Chikazor Ogochukwu Ejezie, returned home from an exam only to find the lifeless bodies of her three children.
According to reports from BBC Pidgin, Madam Chikazor had left her children at home to take an exam in the Ihiala area of the state. However, upon her return, she discovered that the house was open, and her children were missing. The victims included her only son, aged three, and two daughters, aged seven and nine.
Initially, she assumed they had gone out to play and waited for them to return. But as night approached and there was still no sign of them, she became anxious and raised an alarm.
“I called my husband’s friend’s wife because our children usually go to church together, but she told me her kids did not attend catechism that day. When I asked if my children were at her house, she said no,” she recounted.
A neighbor later informed her that he had seen two young men entering the compound earlier that day. He also mentioned seeing her daughter stepping out to buy something before returning home.
A frantic search ensued, but their worst fears were realized when the children were eventually found dead inside the freezer in their house.
Their father, Samuel Ejezie, shared his devastation, explaining that when his wife arrived home around noon, she expected the children to run out and welcome her as they usually did. Instead, she found the house open, with their shoes scattered outside, but no sign of them.
“Our compound is occupied only by my family and the landlord’s elderly mother, who wasn’t home at the time. There are also nursing students living there, but I am certain they have nothing to do with this because I have no issues with them,” he said.
The tragic incident has left the community in shock, as authorities continue investigations into the heartbreaking loss of these three innocent lives.
